It seems that every time you turn around someone is doing something with 3D. 3D has become one of the biggest things since it was released many years ago, back in the fifties. Although it was a far cry from what we are seeing today. 3D has been used with computers for some time now, but it was never released to the general public. Acer computers however; have decided to release the first computer with 3D capabilities to the public.

They have released a new monitor that is 3D capable and runs with the NVIDI 3D glasses system. The monitor is perfect for 3D graphics due to its 120Mhz. This enables it to display 3D images with ease.

The monitor that they are releasing measures a nice size of 23.6 inches which has a resolution of 1920 x 1080, giving it incredible clarity. It only takes two milliseconds for it to respond which is lightening speed compared to other monitors and its contrast ratio is a nice 80,000:1.

When viewing the monitor you can see right away that the quality of its brightness and clarity is far above others that are similar to this one. It has incredible color quality as well due to its 16.7 million colors. The overall picture is comparable to flat screen televisions.

It also has a variety of optional connections that you can have come with it. Those would be HDMI, DVI as well as VGA.

Acer computers are also releasing a new netbook called the Acer Aspire One 11.6. The company is trying to get in as close to a 12 inch screen to try and wipe away the fine line between netbook and notebook computers.

Some features that come with this new netbook would be a screen that has a back lit with WXGA, the processor is the Intel Atom. It has what is called the Mobile Intel US15W Express chip set, Wi Fi, Bluetooth, 3G, touchpad, web camera and comes with a 6 cell battery for long battery life. It also has a multi-card reader that will allow anything from a regular SD memory card to a memory stick. Comes with a 250GB HDD and 2GB of RAM, which makes it powerful enough to rely on this computer to do most of your general computer duties.

The sound is great especially if you have headphones to plug into the computer. The system has a 5.1 channel audio with Dolby to enhance your listening pleasure.

This is an overall great package for your second computer or your primary computer. One of the things that really stands out is the fact that it is only one inch thick. Great for someone who is on the go.
